BLACK JACK BBQ SAUCE
Makes 5 Cups
Vintage Recipe
INGREDIENTS
1 Cup Strong
Black Coffee
1 Cup
Worcestershire Sauce
1 Cup Catsup
½ Cup Cider
Vinegar
½ Cup Brown Sugar
3 Tbls Chili
Powder
2 Tsp Salt
2 Cup Chopped
Onion
½ Cup Hot Chili
Pepper, minced
6 Cloves Garlic,
minced
DIRECTIONS
In a medium sauce
pot cook onion in oil until lightly brown and caramelized. Add remaining
ingredients and simmer for 25 minutes or until sauce begins to thicken. With an
immersion blender pulse until sauce is smooth. Pour into glass jars and cover
tightly. Store the sauce in the refrigerator and use as needed.
